Lee 7th Grade Research Projects: Texas Tribes

Bibliography/Citation Information for Information and Images

When you use information from other sources, you should always give credit to those sources in a Bibliography. A Bibliography not only gives credit where credit is due, it also shows your teacher you have done the research and used credible sources. Some of the articles listed here are from online encyclopedias and databases that give you the citation. All you are expected to do is copy/paste that citation into your Bibliography in alphabetical order, double-spaced. Your Bibliography can be on the final slide in a presentation or on a word document.

Some of the articles you use may be from websites that do not give you the citation. In that case you may use an online citation generator to create an MLA style citation.

You may want to use some images from these websites, just add the citation for the page the image is on to your bibliography. Images in Britannica have their own citation you will find by clicking the check mark icon.

You may also want to insert images from the web through the Insert Online Images on O365 Power Point. It will search Bing for images with creative commons licenses and when you insert the image, there will be a text box underneath the image. Make sure you keep it on or underneath the image. You may resize and relocate it as needed.
