You will be writing about one of the human organ systems. Using notebook paper, set up a Cornell Note-taking sheet, writing the questions you are wanting to answer on the left, ie. name, parts, what it does, how it works and helps the organism to survive. Skip lines between each question or main idea.
Find an article about your chosen system in one of the resources below. Include quotation marks around your search terms when you want to find them together, ie. "circulatory system", "digestive system", "respiratory system."
Read the article, looking for the "treasure" words that will answer your questions. Write only the "treasure words" in the right column next to the question it answers. Be thorough but only write key words and phrases, not complete sentences.
